5 stars for my Bintan Golf trip. Three rounds, two nights, and a private driver for around $400 usd. Can't really beat that. I golfed on a Tue, Wed, Thurs and felt like I had the island to myself. I played in mid June, the heat and humidity were insane. Thank god for the clubhouses and showers. Caddies were awesome and professional. Courses were great and around 20 minutes from the ferry port. The only con for me were the rental clubs. On my last round, I finally got a set with stiff shafts and shot my best round. Communication prior to my arrival was great. This service did require to prepay to hold my reservation through an app I wasn't familiar with but no issues. My private driver was there from the second I walked off the ferry, to getting me to all the courses, and back to the ferry. Prompt and available through Whatsapp. Offered to show me around the island but I was wiped after my rounds of golf. Highly recommend and would have loved to shared this experience with my golf pals back home. There is always next time. Let Bintan Retreat Golf and travel take care of your next golf trip on Bintan. Kadafi has helped to customise a golf tour package for us 2 pax, which covered hotel stay, private driver arrangement and golf bookings. Initial discussions on trip was done very promptly, clearly and politely. There was no rush to make decisions and Kadafi had shown quite extensive knowledge of the golf terrain in Bintan (differences between courses etc for a serious golfer). He was very patient with questions and had a good sense of how to time things well.

I was plesantly surprised even from day 1 how knowledgeable and thoughtful Kadafi was. Trip was very smooth, hassle free and Kadafi was very flexible in making changes to the itinerary according to our wishes. He even brought us around the local eateries and shops, which was a nice addition to our golf centric trip.

Kadafi was also sensitive to how serious we were about golfing and would explain the various courses which I found them to be so true when I played through the courses. I'm definitely coming back for more.

Kadafi was also not hesitant to share more recommendations on alternative resort considerations which is very helpful for my next trip planning.

Overall, this personalised experience has been one of my top few (having experience various private golf tours across the region) as Kadafi adds a personal flair and aptly shows his talent and more importantly, his enjoyment in his work/craft. He is indeed, a superman :). I look forward to our next trip together. My dad has also shown approval to his service and planning and will be introducing this company to his golf kakis.

Also, Bintan has been a nice escape from the busy city. Ive enjoyed golf elsewhere but found Bintan to be slightly differently purely because of its quietness and serenity. Golf across 3 courses (Ria, Laguna, Bintan Lagoon) within 2 days made our trip very productive but yet still feel unrushed.

Would encourage those who needs a break from the busy city to try out Bintan, play some golf with loved ones (it's one of thr main things to do), and have meaningful conversations while doing so.

After we were unable to get a 3D2N golf package through different companies, I was fortunate to come across Bintan Retreat.

It took Muhammad a short few hours within the same day to respond to my inquiry through WhatsApp. He understood what I was looking for and customized a package for us.

3 days of golfing on courses he picked for us were spectacular. Beautiful conditions, ocean views. He put us up in Four Points by Sheraton. The welcome services from the moment we landed in Bintan to leaving Bintan, through custom and immigration, transport, to golf courses, to hotel, and great seafood restaurant were best we had experienced.

I cannot say enough about how good, thoughtful, communicative, and detail Muhammad had been. He was a great guide to us with a lot of knowledge on Bintan resort history.

Bintan Retreat is an honest company. With Muhammad’s leadership, we learned that, the company is growing and expanding beyond Bintan. I highly recommend anyone who is looking to plan for golf trips, sightseeing, and trips to Bintan, Batam, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam to reach out to Muhammad or the company.
